The Vintage Cherubim Terms and Conditions as of 13th June 2014

Payment

Payment is via PayPal only. Paypal uses the latest encryption technology to ensure that all transaction information is protected to the highest standard. A PayPal account is not needed to use this payment method. Once you have ordered your item The Vintage Cherubim will invoice you via PayPal and once payment is completed your item will be dispatched. If your payment fails for any reason we will not be liable for any delay or non delivery of merchandise. We retain the legal ownership of all merchandise until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the merchandise will immediately transfer to you. 

Payment plans can be made on items over £100 - this is interest free over a maximum of three instalments and items will be dispatched upon full payment.

Custom bespoke dresses require a non- refundable deposit of  30% of purchase price to secure your order slot and full payment is required before shipping. You can cancel your bespoke dress order and a full refund will be made but ONLY if work has not already started on your order, or stock has not yet been purchased to make your item.

Some items take longer to complete than others and you will be given an estimated time frame for completion along with progress photos emailed to allow you to make any necessary minor changes.

Shipping

Our items are a mix of ready to ship and made to order. It will be noted clearly if an item is made to order. If an item is personalised, or custom made it will have a lead time of upwards of 7 days but the lead time will be clearly communicated via email with progress pictures sent upon order.

Postage is via Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery. Our beautiful dresses are boxed securely and sent via recorded delivery. We are not responsible for Royal Mail and their handling of parcels, we always supply our customers with tracking information. Postage is not included in our prices, we will always make the postage cost clear to you at time of purchase.

We currently only ship within the UK but this is under review so if you are outwith the UK then please contact us for advice and prices to ship. As an overseas buyer you are responsible for any import duties or customs tax.

Refunds and returns

If your are unhappy with your item upon receipt or change your mind about your purchase you have 14 days from receipt to request a refund. This will be processed once the item has been returned in its original unused condition. The buyer is responsible for all postage costs.

The Vintage Cherubim only accept returns on ready made non custom or faulty items You must inform us of this up to 14 days from the day you receive your order. Refunds are not available on custom or bespoke items , however if I feel I am able to resell the item this can be arranged at our discretion. 

Refunds are not given on personalised or bespoke orders. Under the Consumer Contracts you have the right to change your mind within 14 days of placing an order and making payments after this no refunds will be given. Refunds cannot be given if the work has already commenced.

Dress returns

Standard dress sizes

If your dress is ordered in a standard dress size such as a 10 or 12 etc then you have the standard 14 days in which to change your mind and return the dress in its original unused condition to The Vintage Cherubim for a full refund, buyers pays the return postage

Bespoke Custom dress

If your dress is made to measure for you then it is made to fit you therefore we are unable to resell. We are unable to offer refunds if you change your mind so please choose your fabric carefully and read the informant information regarding How To Measure in the FAQS to make sure you measure yourself as accurately as possible. 

However we appreciate there can be small differences in measurements and on this basis we are happy to alter your dress for you free of charge if there is an issue with the fit. In this case please take photographs with the dress on showing where the fit issue is and send to us with details to assess.  For more details see My dress doesn't fit? in FAQS

Faulty items

Faulty items can be fixed or replaced if posted back to The Vintage Cherubim after we receive photographic evidence of the fault. We will pay the postage on faulty items.

Personalised Items

Personalised items are non refundable unless a spelling mistake has been made on our behalf please check any spellings before placing an order. We always confirm the spelling with our clients before commencing work.

Accuracy of  Content

We take reasonable steps in the preparation and maintenance of this website to ensure that all prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that the descriptions of our products are fair and accurate. However we do reserve the right to decline any order where there has been a material error or where there is an inaccuracy or omission in the price and or description of any of our products and or service as displayed or advertised on the site.

Availability

The majority of our items are made to order but at times ready to post items will be uploaded to the website with a full description and price. all items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the gods you have ordered are not available or have been sold. Some items can take longer to complete than others and you will be given an estimated time frame for when they will be completed along with progress photographs to allow any minor necessary changes. 

Privacy Policy

We value our customers and respect your privacy therefore we are committed to protecting your privacy.  Any information we hold on our customers is held with the utmost care and security. We only us the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for two reasons to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service.

By purchasing from The Vintage Cherubim you are confirming that you have read and understood the terms and conditions which are subject to the consumer contracts regulations as of 13th June 2014.

These conditions are subject to periodic change as dictated by the above regulations.
